Women’s Leadership
Bottomless Closet’s mission is to be the connection that inspires and guides disadvantaged New York City women to enter the workforce and achieve success. They pursue their mission through a range of high-touch, one-on-one interview and career readiness programs, and a broad workshop curriculum that is designed to support each client as they move towards self-sufficiency.
The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women is one of the oldest international organizations working to end the trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and girls. They emphatically believe that every woman and girl has a fundamental right to live a life free from discrimination, sexual exploitation, and violence. Through an approach rooted in women’s rights and human rights principles, they advocate for strong laws and policies, raise public awareness and support survivor leadership.
New Women New Yorkers provides workforce development and other programs to empower immigrant women to obtain meaningful employment or pursue higher education in New York City. They offer a safe, inclusive space where immigrant women can build community and share their stories.
92NY is a cultural and community center where people all over the world connect through culture, arts, entertainment and conversation. Their Women InPower program is a dynamic, cross-sector fellowship program designed to advance high-potential women to the highest levels of leadership in their fields by providing them with mentorship, coaching, leadership training, and membership in an active community of their peers.
