To understand the most significant barriers faced by women and girls from underserved communities, Amplify Her® Foundation collaborated with The New York Women's Foundation and IDEO.org on a comprehensive research project to identify interventions that help women overcome systemic obstacles and meet their full leadership potential.
IDEO.org is a non-profit design studio committed to creating a more just and inclusive world.
A key component of this research involved centering the voices of women and girls through focus groups, listening sessions, individual interviews, and an online survey. Over 1,000 New York Women participated. The full research report ‘If She Can Make It Here’ was made available to the public on October 3, 2023, to coincide with the official launch of Amplify Her® Foundation.
Our hope is that the research will be used by nonprofits, philanthropic organizations, and anyone interested in improving the lives of women and girls to cultivate greater understanding and more effective action. Click here to read the full ‘If She Can Make It Here’ report.
