UNIFIED POLICY PLATFORM

In the wake of sweeping policy and governance shifts at the federal level, women and girls’ rights are under severe threat. While New York City has always been a leader in gender equity, effective public policies protecting women and girls are more critical than ever before.

Guided by the voices and expertise of our grantee partners, Amplify Her® Foundation has crafted a Unified Policy Platform. The process began with conducting legislative policy surveys with grantee partners to identify the critical challenges facing women and girls on their leadership journeys. These insights were then reviewed and analyzed, spotlighting key areas in need of immediate policy action. Building on these findings, Amplify Her® Foundation hosted a series of intensive focus groups, where discussions with grantee partners further informed and refined the 10-point Unified Policy Platform, which is a roadmap for systemic change.

To positively affect change within this scope, Amplify Her® Foundation is leveraging relationships with government agencies and policymakers to encourage greater investments in targeted initiatives and policies that support the Unified Policy Platform.
