At Amplify Her® Foundation, we believe when women and girls are in positions of power, influence, and decision-making, it benefits entire communities. Research consistently shows that women’s leadership strengthens economies, enhances health and education outcomes, and elevates overall societal well-being. The evidence underscores the urgency of investing in the leadership development of women and girls now.
CORE ACTIVITIES
Amplify Her® Foundation’s Theory of Change outlines how our core activities work together to ensure women and girls from underserved communities in New York City have the resources and opportunities to become transformative changemakers.
GRANTMAKING
Amplify Her® grantmaking supports initiatives that foster the leadership development of women and girls. Grantee partners align closely with our mission and priorities in the following areas: Advocacy, Women’s Entrepreneurship, Equitable Representation, Girls’ Leadership and Women’s Leadership Development.
COMMUNITY BUILDING
The Amplify Her® Leadership Network plays a crucial role in our community-building efforts by fostering cross-sector relationships, resource-sharing, and grantee partner support. We also create educational and networking opportunities for women and girls, such as Amplify Her® Leadership Labs and Give to Women and Girls Day.
ADVOCACY
Amplify Her® Foundation is committed to systemic change and we recognize the imperative to advance public policies that genuinely reflect the lived experiences of women and girls through advocacy. We have developed a Unified Policy Platform in collaboration with our partners.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
Amplify Her® Foundation conducted comprehensive research, surveying over 1,000 New York City women, to uncover the unique barriers they encounter on their leadership journeys and released findings in our ‘If She Can Make It Here’ report. We are committed to using data and storytelling to drive change.
